Billy Mays Autopsy: Cocaine!

I was shocked last night to hear the news as they released the autopsy report on Billy Mays. I had no idea he did cocaine. It seems like everyone is on drugs these days, even stars and celebrities that you would never suspect! Here is a small article i copied.  He also was using oxy,hydro and tramadol too! Although that was RX'd to him for his hip pain which he was due for a third replacement soon so who knows if he abused them too, probably never know that. But they are just saying that the cocaine use contributed to his heart condition..

""Pitchman Billy Mays died of a heart attack in his sleep in June. His autopsy now shows that cocaine contributed to the death of the TV personality, the Associated Press reports. A release from the medical examiner's office Friday said Mays had last used the drug days before his death.

Other narcotics were found in May's system, though the St. Petersburg Times reports that Mays was taking hydrocodone, oxycodone and tramadol by prescription for hip pain. The report said that although Mays died from heart disease, cocaine use was a contributing cause of death.

"Cocaine can raise the arterial blood pressure, directly cause thickening of the wall of the left ventricle of the heart, and accelerate the formation of atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries," the Hillsborough County medical examiner's press release stated  ""

Yes, I guess that does explain the fast, loud speech and the hyperactivity he displayed. Thought something had to be going on. I would get tired just watching and listening to him. It's sad. But for the grace of God, this could have easily been ME.

Yes,  it is always sad to see a life end. It makes more sence now as to why he was so abnoxious.

Heart disease and hypertension coupled with amphetamines is never a good idea. Seems like Cocaine is still a status drug for the affluent.
