Dave only traveled 4 miles. how did

From point A to point B is 8 miles. It took Peter 15 minutes to arrive at point B. Dave only traveled 7 1/2  minutes and arrived at point B in half the time. How did Dave do this driving at the same speed as Peter?

if point A & B are 8 miles apart
and Peter took 15 minutes
but Dave took 7.5 minutes
and they were travelling at the same speed
then...

nevermind, LOL... Dave didn't start at point A...
and the answer is in the title: Dave only travelled 4 miles
(not the full 8... I can't believe I didn't get that right away, haha)

Flmagi is correct because Dave only tavelled half the distance. At no time did you say that he started at point A.

David drove faster than Peter.  Peter drove approx53mph and Dave drove approx 60mph. Probably not right. Probably is something so simple, that I can't see it.
