Woman that's pregnant gets narcan

My buddy's friend has an old lady that was pregnant and overdosed and was hit wit narcan... Will the intense withdrawal effect the baby???

This would indicate that she was doing heroin during the pregnancy so I would say yes, all of the drugs being put into her body while pregnant will effect the baby.  The only safe and responsible thing to do now is make sure that the OB is aware of the situation so when the baby is born they can immediately start taking care of the ailing baby.  It's gonna suck to tell them...but there is no choice.  Baby comes first...they should put a team in place to immediately take over when baby is born.
