My user name is my third name .Yes I was the only girl so my mom had to slip  in two grandmothers names and one she liked .I am sure you can guess Avis was one of the grandmothers names LOL.

I have always lacked creativity. Couple that fact with a 4+ year daily coke addiction and there you have my username. It was the first thing that worked. I was desperate for someone to see my very first, late-night post and reach out. Thank God they did. I am still here 12 days clean. Struggling like crazy. I hate my username now, but i am not going to change it just yet. Maybe when i hit a month clean and get my reward tattoo that i am looking forward to, i will also graduate to a more positive username.

Well, this could be shocking.....but mine is kind of self explanatory. I was playing on the internet and found this website a long time ago and wanted to answer a question so I just logged in. At the time I did not think I had a "problem" and I never dreamed I would need to come here for such support. Boy was I wrong!!!!

I used to be an amateur radio operator......and I got in trouble (banned) stripped of my license by the FCC  I wouldn't give out my call sign on here.........those can be googled they are public record......not sure about military ones though.  It was not my proudest day when the FCC showed up at my door and confiscated 8 grand worth of radio equipment .....:-(( ~~~~~

Trust me ......you don't want to mess with or **** off the FCC.......I got off easy.

I was also a victim of the ethernet - first handle - 1eagle - morphed into theeagle after a couple of tries.

Mine was a call sign from service days that worked then and I thought now was a good time to use it again.

Over time it gradually just became "Sav"...when I logged on, the software told me "Sav" was taken...so I simply typed it forwards and backwards. "Sav vaS". (Lazy, eh?) :)

I felt like all my dreams had been lost, dreams of becoming a successful career woman, a mother, a wife, due to addiction! You know how it goes!!!!
Therefore lostdreams seemed appropriate.
However, the career dream is becoming real now, so i'll maybe change my name to newdreams or something along those lines if the latter falls into place. lol
