Wanna say sorry for just now getting these posted and also for not having this past weekends results done yet. I've worked 69 hours since Saturday. I have a few more days left of these crazy hours and things should get back to normal. I will do my best to get the results up by tomorrow night.

From the sounds of it, it won't be long for your #1 favorite putz to call it quits. I'm sure he will play out the season but from a few of his post Packer game comments it may be sooner. But with Favre who knows. You can't believe a word that comes out of his indecisive mouth! There is no way he will come back next year. Even if he wanted too I don't think another team would take a chance on him. There aren't too many teams out there that want a one year wonder. Most teams want a quarterback that they know will be their starter for the indefinite future.

Here's some comments from the post game interview.

Disappointing would be an understatement," Favre said. "It's tough."

Tough enough that Favre said on two occasions that he planned to "re-evaluate" things. These were potentially ominous words for a quarterback who is in his 20th and final (he says) NFL season and whose team has fallen to a likely unsalvageable 3-7. Favre, 41, also was vague when asked a few times if he planned to complete what he started when he arrived in Minnesota in mid-August.

Talk about walking out with your tail between your legs!!! I bet he was looking at the ground, kicking pebbles all the way to his vehicle in the parking.

Lol!! It may have taken you 11 weeks but I'm still impressed that you're are doing so well! We should give you some extra points considering you are picking outside of your comfort zone! You aren't use to football! You're use to rugby!

I think your Cowboys will spoil it for some more teams! Hey, they have won 2 in a row. Granted their past win was against the Lions but their record doesn't show how well they can play. If you get a chance look at the Lions offensive stats. They almost always get at least more than 300 yards (or close to) and in a handful of games have had over 400 yards. They might not be the best stats but they aren't as bad as their record shows. And they beat the Giants! If they can beat the Giants they have a shot at beating anyone this year.
Given how close most of the records are in the NFC the Cowboys still have a chance at a wildcard. The chance may be very slim but it's still a chance! Since the Bears don't play them again this year I'll cheer them on to victory!

Bummer??.....No way Drifter!! Even though I'm a Bears fan I can completely understand picking against them no matter who they are playing. They are so inconsistent. Hopefully this is one of those years where a team with a record of 8-8 can still have a shot at a wildcard for the playoffs. Although the Bears still have a shot at winning the division they have a tough schedule left and the Packers have finally started playing like they can. The Bears still have to play Philly, Detroit, New England, Vikings, Jets and then the Packers Last game of the year. They shouldn't have a problem winning at least a couple of those games but who knows with the Bears. Some years you have to have a 10-6 record to make the playoffs so I'm hoping for at least 3 more wins. Hopefully the Bears will just win the division and then I won't have to worry about it!
