I'd turn her in as well...you can't go over there and clean up that stuff..the police/fire need to call in pros with the white suits and oxygen or gas masks or something..clean the place up (throw EVERYTHING in i a big dumpster...maybe even the husband) and I'd consider either tearing the house down or burning it.  who knows what diseases are lurking in there, and I can't help but think of those poor dogs and cats and what their lives must be like..

I have been watching the A&E series on hoarders.  Very scary.  My guess she won't clean much if she is one.  Basically swirl the same chit around into a different pile in a different corner....ya, know?.......If I were you...as horrible as this may sound...you would be doing her a favor turning her into the Humane Society.  Normal people don't have 16 dogs and they don't die of disease and buried in their yard...Ya know.  Parvo is a horrible disease for an animal to die of.  PAINFUL AND MISERABLE  You need to be anonymous and turn her in.  It may appear that she is doing good for these animals, and she believes she is, but in reality......She is abusing them.  its a very sad situation.

I am not sure about the Hep. thing....I don't know much about it, and bringing something home to your animals.....I wish I had an answer.  I would ask your vet. to be sure.

You are a good person and a good friend.  The best friend you can be is to turn her in.  Just think about it.....

I wish you all the best.

Luv,
Nauty.............
