Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome

I was wondering if anyone else is going through this right now I was hoping we could be support for each other I'm going to list some of my symptoms and maybe this will help to know that other people are going through it as well!
I experience a tense feeling in my shoulders as well as an overall feeling of being uncomfortable and nervous sometimes I have problems with my stomach like certain things I eat send me straight to the bathroom.  My doc put me on celexa but I think this may just be prolonging the process my brain needs to heal

i don't know about your symptoms but i can tell you that at 6 months i was suffering with anxiety mostly... at first i also thought of PAWS but after starting therapy and when my anxiety was under control, i thinknow that what i had was  acute anxiety. I didn't know how to deal with anxiety and life's problems without the pills so it went wild

Come on people I thought this was a place for support and stuff like that I really would enjoy having someone to share what I'm going through with I'm sure it would make it easier on both of us

I mean I was on lortab for a while then went on vacation and forgot my perscription I went for almost 2 weeks with no pills and no withdrawal symptoms and then within a month when my perscription ran out I started withdrawal I just hope I'm not like this forever

when did the symptoms peak for you I have read that they peak between 3 to 6 months and begin to fade I think I may be peaking right now for the first time since the acute stage I am having hot flashes most of my symptoms are physical mostly just an overall tense feeling

No 2ndTime you are not the only one that has a hard time coping with PAWS. I too have had similar problems after quiting. One thing that I have found that works for me is coconut water, it has properties that have a calming effect and it helps with stomach problems. You are not alone so talk to your doctor about coconut water it may help you as it does me.---Rick

Well I really was hoping this would be a place to kind of talk about PAWS but it seems like I may be the only person who has a hard time coping with it
