I think I used yahoo IM back when I'd chat with someone. Myspace has an IM now as well (I like it better than yahoo). I don't recall this site having an IM function.

It's not an IM thing, but the send message thing is a way to talk privately. Just a little slower than IM. Unless you're talking to me. I'm probably the slowest typist out here...LOL

Cathy---sorry i am just getting on the forum,  but i see they have all answered your question...The forum has changed alot since you were here with all the new Pm's ,notes, etc...At first i didnt' like it, but it just took time to learn it, and i love it now..send me a Pm anytime....hugs to you!!
