Sadly enough when i was severely depressed and at 30 painkillers a day and binge drinking (previous to getting help) I made a playlist of songs that i loved but made me feel sadder and wallow in the deep depression...the first song on the list was:
Another morning stoner by "And you will know us by the trail of dead"
Are you asleep, are you in a dream?
The copper shades of a morning
Distant lights beckon and fade
Unwritten songs of another day
I fear that you would never be
Every song in the world for me
I took your hand, led you astray
You cursed the worlds I longed to save
Is heaven to you a perfect place?
The look of sorrow on a sufferer's face
A field of lives to sow and to reap
That some of us will never see?
Why is it I don't feel the same?
Are my longings to be blamed
For not seeing heaven like you would see
Why is a song the world for me?
What is forgiveness?
It's just a dream
What is forgiveness?
It's everything
and another good one...Special K by Placebo.
I liked "Can't find my way home". I had actually heard it before.
I didn't care for "Judas". Which is odd because I like almost all of her other songs. I am actually listening to "The edge of glory" as I type this. lol
I am going to look those up as long as it doesn't offend you if I say I don't like them if I don't : )
"Can't find my way home." ~ Blind Faith
oh and....
"JUDAS" ~ Lady Gaga
that is one of my favorite songs...I love pink, she is real,,
I like all ACDC. I actually have ACDC tattooed on my leg. I have metallica on my right shoulder. I am going to look up those other songs on your list. I listened to one earlier called Born to Be Wasted. Check it out.
I like all your songs
keep them coming.

always more, but that is the starter list of recovery tunes for me
I don't really have just one song to define my recovery but I have a few that really helped me through by allowing me to play them really loud and sing and dance along with them.
