My Dilemna~

Sooooooo, i have long hair that has always been straight as straight can be, until now.  It seems i have a few gray patches sprouting on one side.  I dont mind the gray as i earned every one of them but for some frickin reason they are coming in and they are wavy.  Now i have one side of my hair that have waves in them.  If it was my whole head it would be okay but it isnt.  When i get the rest of my gray hairs will they be wavy too??  I am not liking having to straighten one side.  I like the wash and wear hair.......

SM,....Your hair sounds beautiful!!!  I am not sure you remember the product of the century, Sun In.  It left our hair brittle as hell and orange.  I can still smell that crap but we all looked alike, sitting in the sun reading our Tiger Beat magazine drooling over Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy posters in the middle of the magazine and listening to Dr Hook's Cover of the Rolling Stone!!!

This is a funny thread.  made me laugh out loud

Guess what I did----  I get my hair highlighted and haven't been able to get in for a while.  Someone told me about this 'go blonder' spray in product that I tried to touch up the roots.  Um hm.  I have orange roots.  I'm a true beauty right now.  And our school system has closed our school for the second day in a row after the holiday break so I had to cancel my 'fix it' hair appointment tomorrow.  

Thank goodness for my trusty ball cap.  

I have a bit of grey coming in at my temples, some blond hair, some brown hair and a new batch of orange.  I look bad from all angles dominosarah---  you just look 'different' on one side!  That's a plus!

That is too weird.....I'm not bs'n ya either!!!  But, along with the thought of you and a half a head of wiry gray hair (bahaha a FUN picture for sure)...I had a solution come to mind for you too!!  Wanna know?   Ok, I'll tell ya if ya really wanna know:  SHAVE that WHOLE side of your head like Miley Cyrus.....ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My gray's arent as wiry as most, they are rather tame at this point.  If my whole head had this extra body i would be rather happy!!!  I just  pull it all back and wear a ponytail.  When i get my "do" done she french braids it.  I have tried that but i look like i am playing twister!!!  I just dont have time for all this girly crap!!!

So...how bad does it look Sara?  Does it stick out in a stupid way? I'd be inclined to leave it and just use some product to tame the wiry hairs down...And I think those facial hairs are far more disturbing than ANYTHING! And they're practically invisible!   Everyone needs to go OUTSIDE with a mirror, reading glasses, and a pair of tweezers! Unbelievable the things you find!!

OMG you girls..I always wonder if I end up in a NH if they would pluck a few of my face hairs..LMAO..OR even put my partial in my mouth. BOOBS Ha! That is why I have to wear my High Heels backwards..Told hold me up from the weight of my Boobs..I used to stash drugs under my Boobs..Sagging low and can hold a can of beans under them now.hahaha
AND thanks Sarah..I went and put my reading glasses on and seen all kinds of new grey hairs. I think besides age the stress brings it out..AND we all went through some stress when we detoxed too. lol

Oh boy, don't get me started on the pesky chin hairs! Wondering if I can transplant them to my growing bald spot on my head. Hmmmm gonna have to look into that. And really, what kind of a cruel joke is chin hairs? See, I said don't get me started...

Seems EVERYTHING changes with this "aging" process for me!

I wore very long hair (and it was super duper straight) almost ALL my life...anywhere from my waist to my boobs. (course that is relative, too, as THOSE aren't as high "up" as they used to be either..ROFL)  I'm glad I wore it long all thru my "stuck in the bed" be sick on opiate days....thank God for greasy pony tails, eh?
But then....after I got clean....I decided to just "go for it" and change my hair too!  Now that it is layered all over and only about shoulder length....I'm really beginning to gray around my face (still able to hide it though w/o color).  The other REALLY trippy thing that has happened is that it is getting darker and darker as I age.  My hair gal says we always go darker BEFORE we go gray.  (oh no!!!...I know what's ahead).
I had straight...and I mean REALLY straight hair until I cut some weight off and layered it.....if I use some product of some kind....it's SUPER curly now????  What???  Me???  with curly hair???  I'm lovin it though...pretty much wash and go....not so much the gray eyebrow or chin and mustache hairs~  LOL

I just dye the gray...it looks ridiculous when it comes in. It has a mind of it's own. then of course there is those pesky chin hairs...

Ha!! My Grey hair is bad on both sides of my face above the ears. I do get it dyed sometimes..BUT that Grey just pushes through the dye. My Hair does seem thicker now. It was always a bit wavy and still is a little bit. Maybe as we age our scalp gets tighter and comes out a bit wavy or curly. Like when you take a knife to a ribbon and pull it down to make it curl up..Hahaha

My delusions are a happy place by the way and i will be enjoying the game today!!!
