What was your favourite childhood toy?

I think i was about 4 or 5 and i had "hoppy", a big grasshopper i sat on and bouced around all over the place. Even though i was starting to ride a bike, i loved my hoppy and bounced around everywhere, inside and out, lol. I had hoppy for years, maybe till i was 8 or 9, but at that age i stayed inside to bouce so i wouldn't get teased by other kids for liking my hoppy, lol. omg, i miss being a kid. What was one of your favourite childhood toys?

I liked toy bugs... Barbies-ehhh... No I had more fun playing sci-fi thriller than barbies!

Or I led to dress up my toy bugs in barbie clothes. Yes I was a strange child.

Consider yourself having been cut some slack. The Court Marshal Board vote was quite close though...... And I can handle the flag part - its like freedom of speech. None of us ever fought just for our own freedoms. We put it on the line for everyone. And that includes you and thats all right by me. .....

I did rip the head of of GI Joe and threw it in the fireplace.......and took great pleasure in ripping him limb from limb.  My brother beat me over the head with him and GI Joe had to go......sorry.

As far as the army men ......the bag of 60 of them........we were children.....cut me some slack.

Hey ?  you didn't say anything about the picture of me draped in the flag???  I read that was a federal offense too.......hmm.

Luv,

For a present my Dad bought my brother & I an old car from the junkyard. We sat and played in there hours on end. When we grew up we tried to get it running...not. But it was a good learning tool. There are far too many things now to keep our kids from learning and using their imagination.

I forgot about the Paper Dolls too...They were so much fun...They still sell those at the stores.  I tried to convince my daughter to let me buy some for "her" and she wouldn't have to play with them alone I would play too..lol...She didn't fall for it and told me if I wanted them then buy them for myself...lol

Paper dolls...I forgot about them, lol, yup , paper dolls.
Bandmom,  LOL,  My brother would take Mary's & and my other sister, Dee's,
Ragidy Ann dolls and hang them with a noose from the upstairs bedroom so that they would see them hanging from their bedroom window downstairs. They would freak out. He was always torturing their dolls. Then I'd have to sew them or paint their faces back on etc.
LOL, I think Eagle was one of those brothers too.......blowing up our barbies!

But luv me sum paper dolls & barbies too back then.

I wish they would have made one of those battery kid sized pink barbie jeeps in my days.........that Ken-Doll would have left me after divorce.
