suboxone success rate???

Has anybody gotten off suboxone after 5yrs?  Will I have to take it my whole life?  What does it do to your liver? Not sure what to do now...Nobody I know has been successful

let me know how you are when you stop,,im on 2mg a day now and am ready to get off,,,im sick and tired of opiates taking over my body and my mind.  Good luck and do keep posted

Thanx for your replys to my journal entry. I am at like 21 or 22 days of Sub treatment and i am down to like 1 mg a day. Si i'm going to not take it and see what happens......

I noticed that was an old post so maybe that person is not around any more? wow so much to say about the sub but dont want any more arguments about it. I know everyone feels differently, I for one know it saved my life but on the other hand I am struggling daily now to get off of it. If I could do it all again I still would have taken the sub in a heartbeat but would follow that 21 day taper plan very very strickly....

WOW 5yrs is a long time.  Sub was originally marketed for pain managment and finally Bush signed a bill to have it be used as a opiate w/d med and thus doctors who have done research on this med decided that it should only be used for a short period of time for opiate w/d.  So is that what you were using it for or was it for another reason
