HEY Dude sorry to here of your relapse it su cks when it happens no one plans to relapse but many fail to plan.....you can get by for a wile on strong will but rarely is it a long term fix
you need to get involved with aftercare and treat your addiction both N/A and A/A are free
aqnd they work if you work them there are also substance abuse conslors as well as addiction therapists but in order to get well we need to change the very way we think...our best thinking got us here....we need to figure out why we need to use in the first place these are all things that aftercare can help you with.....so many try this on there own and often wind up back here with a relapse......aftercare is not optional it is a critical part of the recovery process ....so use this as a learning experiences put a plan in place pick yourself up dust yourself off and start counting days clean again I wish you all the best with your recovery good luck and God bless.......Gnarly

Offthehook, I wasn't talking to you about the detox. I am trying to talk with Jester---that is why I suggested that you stay in your own post. Let him get some help as well. This is getting confusing.

Not in detox. Doing it the old school way. At home with the help of family and its not turning out to feel as bad as before once I got vitamins in my system and pulled my act together.    And sudie, no need for apologies a relapse is serious but if we have to be serious all the time well it kinda makes recovery a drag rite?

Jester,

Where are you now in your detox?

Offthehook, you should start your own post and let people get to know you, if you haven't already. this is Jester's post and your comments/questions could easily get lost.

I feel ya. I stay clean for a few day and then I go down that rd again. Here I am back to day one and the world is collapsing around me again. But the important thing to remember is the human will can be the strongest thing in the word when we use it to our advantage. So dont let it getcha down. We all make mistakes and its how we rise when we fall that sets the standard. So hang in there.
