12 days clean and loving life!!

Hello everyone...I haven't been around much this weekend as I have been active and busy with my kids and their sports!! I am happy to announce I have made it through 2 weekends with no Percocet!!! One of which was a trying holiday weekend. I made it through a weekend of out of town sports yesterday and today. Usually I would need to take perks but this time I did not and feel great!!!! 12 days clean today!!! It's far from where I want to be but it's a great start!! I am sleeping well, eating well, and slowly gaining my strength. If I could get rid of my stomach issues I'd be a happy camper!!!!! I wish everyone continued success in their journey to sobriety!!!! This is truly awesome news and a huge milestone for you.  Isn't it great to know there is no temptations lurking anywhere?  It just keeps getting better.  Trust the waz.  I still have off days.  Energy issues.  Anxiety issues.  But isn't that part of life?  I know my body is still healing but I'm pushing me to help with that process eating the right foods, exercising and finding some time each and every day for me.  Something that brings me joy.  And how wonderful it is that that doesn't come inside a pill bottle.  I used to think that was my joy. What a freaking joke.  Now that I have lived being free of that joke for over 3 weeks, I am re-discovering what real joy is.  Sounds like you are too!  Great great news.

Awesome!!  The hub n I are on day 9 and we are both stoked about our new life and all the possibilities it holds!  Im glad you both are doing great
We took some of our saved money and took a little relaxing weekend getaway without meds, who'da thunk it?  A little reward for ourselves and that still didnt cost as much as we would have spent the last 9 days....holy bajebus....craziness

Oh Km, I am soooo proud of you. I know from experience, these milestones are HUGE! Many more to come. Each day will continue to get betta and betta!
