163 days. Almost 6 months clean.

It's been a while guys, and I'm sorry for not checking in. Just tried to put this behind me. Those who are just beginning to fight this demon, you can beat it. I still get cravings, but I know where I was, and how hard it was for me to get here today. Prayers and best wishes to you all! Life is great, and it's no longer fake! When I'm mad.. I'm mad! When I'm happy.. I'm happy! It's all me.. I couldn't have gotten this far without a lot of you, God, and my husband! Cut your sources.. ALL of them!  Get into therapy! Come here as often as needed! Thank you, God... I'm an OVERCOMER!!

From one "overcomer" to another (I like that term), many congrats.
Six months is amazing and very important. At this point most of the physical detox symptoms are well behind you. Now all you have to deal with is the never ending mental battle, but it sounds like you have a great outlook and have put a program in to place.
Please post when you can. New people need to hear your story.
