34 days clean

I am now 34 days off Vicodin! I have no desire for them and I don't miss them.  I saw my Dr. On Monday and told her that I don't ever want any type of opiate pill again! She did put it in my file. She also told me to call our prescription plan and tell them.  I did as soon as I got home.  My Dr. did tell me that I could be that small percentage of people that has a reaction to opiates. I told her that my pain level went from an 8 down to a 6 now that I don't take the Vicodin. I am getting stronger everyday.  Mentally getting better as well.  I thank god for this forum and all the good advice it provides.  I know I have to take it one day at a time, and that's what I'm doing.  I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a New Year!
