4 days and blew it!!!

I posted, got support, and was/am part of the Vocoprofen withdrawl club. I made it 4 days, got up, put a plan together, went to the Dr.'s and BAM!!!! I had a script! Needless to say they don't last forever as I'm sure we all know....My question is feedback on...4 days clean of years of vicoprophen uses & abuse, now, I 'm in the throws of having taken 40 ocycontin (40 mg) in the last week! Man I KNOW  I'm an addict, but wouuld like some input on what's in store for me in the next few days. I do  have some alprazolam to help...ANY AND ALL INPUT INVITED......Thanks, Zap

thanks for the response Jules...No, upon being clean for 4 days from vicoprofin (on them 5yrs), I went to the dr. and got a script for 40...40mg OxyContin and did those in one week. I know I screwed up. I told my dr. about it on friday, and he hasn't gotten back to me. I keep on plugging on, and am determined to do this...with the help of meetings and any other resourse I can avail myself...zap

  You most definitely graduated going from hydrocodone to 40mg.OxyContin.  Withdrawals may be a little worse

The wd's are going to be what they are....you will have to ride out the storm now.  That is the price we pay for relapsing.  Our addiction doesnt just stop after we go thru that.  You have to get a plan in place with some sort of aftercare or nothing will change.  Stay positive.  There is a life here waiting for you............sara

It is going to be just like the last withdrawal only worse. I would be careful taking any kind of prescription meds during this time. The idea is to get off of them altogether and not to risk getting addicted to something else.

So, what are you going to different this time to assure that you will not fill the next script?
