4 months clean today

Today marks 4 months without any Norco.  I feel great and all residual symptoms have been gone for several months now.  I haven't posted in awhile because we have moved from Alaska to North Carolina, started back to college, and trying to do that and take care of my family is very time consuming.  I check in every week or so to know that I am not alone with my addiction.  So thankful to have this forum!

It was a good month or so before I felt better.  But we moved and I kept busy with all that.  My back still hurts but its manageable with OTC meds, Biofreeze, and a heating pad.

I'm 49 days clean today and I still feel symptoms.   The cough is still here, my back and chest are KILLING me.   I feel so much despair.  Money is not good; I simply cannot work the way I used to.

Everything feels like a HUGE chore.   Sigh.  So this is my life?  It sux.

Sorry to hijack your thread...

That's wonderful!   One of my best friends went back to school for phlebotomy at age 50----that was five years ago and she has an exciting and thriving career! (Wish I could do it, but my eyes aren't good enough, and I have a total needle phobia...)

Do you have ANY symptoms of PAWS?  If so, did they last long?  Thanks for sharing your wonderful accomplishment; you are an inspiration!
