I normally don't post my clean time no more, but today I feel like bragging about it, lol. I am back to 5 months clean and it seems different this time. I have made some changes from last time, I will not keep promising to never use again,I will take it one day at a time. I will not say I have this beat, nor will I let my guard down again. I am an addict and all drugs are bad for me, not just my DOC. I will continue to fight through, although it's so much easier now and I am thankful for that. Thank-you to all of you for being a part of my recovery, we can do this. There is hope and we do have the choice to get better. Congrats to everyone here on their clean time too.

Yea Giz. You deserve to post your cleantime and be sooo very proud of it. Noone has worked harder and has unselfishly helped others day after day for so long....longer than I've been on here. Your doing fantastic. When I wrote to MedHelp when you weren't on for awhile I told them you were our poster boy lol . Keep lookin forward and I know you'll make it.  Now if someone could only do something about my Steeler's everything would be right with the world. But then there's a better chance in h@ll of everyone on here getting clean the first time, with no withdrawals, no cravings, no depression and no relapses ever.....just ain't gonna happen LOL.

Thank you everyone, after messing up so many times, it feels so good to live again and not have to live day in and day out with the constant guilt and sickness like before. Looking back it's hard to comprehend how I let myself go that far down. Ty, ya'll rock!

hey dude congrads on clean time its huge to here people do this...im 57days into it
and it seams like a lifetime at different points but to see someone like yourself succeed
gives me hope that someday I will have 5 mo clean..its been a ruff ride but I think its
that way for most of us your a tremendous asset to this forum you always share your struggles as well as your accomplishments just to let us all know it ant eazy but it is doable thaks for shairing your life with us....you have made a difference in mine

Congrats!! Please brag about your clean time every chance you get or whenever you feel like it! Not only will it help you, it will also give others hope that are currently in the process. I'm sure when you were in active you use you didn't think you had a chance in he!! for sobriety. Reading others success stories will give a glimmer of hope and sometimes that little glimmer is all it takes.
Keep going strong bud! Be proud of yourself. I know I am!
