Congrats on day 5! Im right there with you and are a big supporter! I didnt sleep much either. Got about 4 hours. Today will be my first day back to work sober in years! Nervous as hell but I am pushing myself. Dig those clams it sounds like fun! Btw i read from someone if you get restless legs use vicks vapor rub! Omg that person saved my life last night! worked so well after a hot bath! Not sure if you do but I had to share! Have a blessed day friend! HEAD UP HIGH! Congrats!!!!!!!
Sorry to hear about the sleep problems you've been having. I was also amazed at staying awake all night also while in the thick of things. The lack of sleep is part of getting better. Your body will soon become naturally tired. Do your best to stay away from OTC sleep meds. I found that they simply prolong the process and sooner or later you'll find yourself needing to stay awake for awhile to get sleep naturally. Love to read about the clam digging!! (We drive from Detroit to OBX virtually every year. NC is our second home state.) Go out, dig clams, walk, get all the exercise and fresh sea air that you can. Take a hot soak in the tub to lessen the stress and anxiety along with the aches and pains. That's the natural way to regulate your sleep.
