8-9 months...

So I just looked and it is now 9 months since my last Oxy Contin. I don't want to say that it is 9 months, because I was on Sub for little over 3 weeks. So that puts me right in between 8-9 months of clean time. I am so happy and just in a much better place in my life. I pray that everyone gets there. I truly do.

God Bless...

Lisa

You do know that regardless if you are using or not, you are still welcome to this site. Please, if anything, do not leave. It seems as though you want to get clean, so even if you relapse doesn't mean your not welcome here. When I first started, I tried to quit and actually got really good advice, tips and knowledge on how to go about it. And I got clean for almost 3 months then relapsed. But I stuck with the forum. Not sure if you are clean now, but it takes time and we all relapse..and we just keep trying. Please stay with us no matter what. Let us help you....Always here if you need to chat....

Thanks for sharing...I remember you from a while back when I first got on this site, but at that point I was still using and continued to for quite a while, and didn't come back here until recently.  I actually thought about your story many times during my attempts to stop, and seeing you here and doing so well is again an inspiration to me to keep going.  Congrats and I am so glad to hear that you are doing so well.

THank you so much for all the congrats...I didn't get to read them all until now.

I can only say that each and every one of you have given me hope and inspiration. I do love and value you all. THank you so very much. I would not be where I am today without this forum and the people in it. And that is the truth. I was so lost when I came here and scared. I had no one to talk to, I had just lost my husband and I was severely addicted. And now, 9 months clean and almost 2 years later on the forum, I am just so happy and in a much better place in my life. So thank you all. All members, new and old, contribute to this forum and make it the place it is. Everyone offers some sort of advice and knowledge. And I am just so happy to be a part of it.

Love to all....

Lisa

WOW, CONGRATS!! 9 months clean, what an accomplishment. It's people like you that give me hope. I have only been clean for 60 days and it has been a very rocky road...sometimes i think of how easy it would be and how much better i would feel to just fall back into my addiction, then i read posts like yours and it's just so inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story with us, and once again awsome job!!! Keep up the good work.
