8 days WOOT WOOT!
OH MY GOSH!! People coming off suboxone have faith. I jumped from 8/2 mgs and its been 8 days of NO medicines and other then the anxiety and depression which I take clonapine and geodon for my bipolar for I have not had any physical withdraw just mental. I FEEL GREAT!

So apparently, what you have been able to do, is not the normal! Wow! Consider yourself lucky or blessed! Either way, I think it is awesome! 8mg BUPRENORPHIN 2mg NALOXON! yes she is doing better than i did, i tried jumping at 2mg thought i was dying, felt like i had 200 pound weight"s on all my limbs, just wiping my runny nose felt like a job! had to get back on it and taper off it, couldnt imagine jumping off 8mg!

not hear to discourage nobody! your taking it all wrong! your doing great keep up the good work, you are a tougher person than me! you can do this just hang in there, i can tell ya live is awesome after getting clean, i wouldnt trade it either my useing in the past has taught me how awesome life is, now i look at the tree listen to the birds sing mother nature and god is so awesome, god bless! peace!!
KellKell great job that is a huge huge accomplishment. You are on your way!! I reread Deweyseth's post and I dont think that he is calling you a liar. I can be mistaken but it looks like he thought you were asking for advice aboutjumping at 8mg and he was offering it. Just my opinion after reading the posts. But he is kind of right. Alot of people, every person I have ever talked to, wd pretty dang hard jumping off at high doses. Does that mean that one can be the exception, of course!! And I am glad it is you. THat is great. I can't believe you are calling me a liar. My specialist put me on a recipe for detox and I feel GREAT! I have no reason to lie silly... Get a grip!!! Be happy for me. Sorry you went through such a hard time. But I did not and have my life back!
I jumped from 8/2 and I have not gone through hell. Please do not give that stigma to everyone you do unnecessary scaring of innocent people. What I happens to you is your case alone. I jumped and I do everything I normally do no pain... So call me a liar but I tapered down over 96 days and then jumped now I am on day 10 FEELING BRAND NEW AND FANTASTIC... But then again I never relapsed and once I tapered down I did not go back up I toughed it out and stayed that low. Sorry about your experience but it is not hell. Sub saved my life and god spared me any pain for my hard work to stay clean. That's my out look and nothing will change it!
true! anybody can jump at 8 mg! or even 20 mg, but to say your not having withdrawl is a lie, sub is a good drug if used right, I know i couldnt do it off of 2mg thought i was dying, had to go back to the doctor, he thought it was wierd i couldnt do it, i told him to take the drug for a while and quit taking it at 2mg wait 4 days then come and talk to me let me know how he feel's, but whatever, all i can say is she is a stronger person than me, and to say you feel great jumping at 8 mg come on man!!

the poster jumped off at 8 mgs and is fine every1 is diff. i kno i couldnt do it but that dsnt mean every1 cant. she was determined and did it
yes one more thing that will help alot exercise exercise you dont have to go real hard at it, just a fast walk and try to stay busy, even when you dont feel like it after you start moving around you will feel better!!
tavia 14! i came off of suboxone, i can say honestly it saved my life, i been an addict for around 25 years, last 5 years on suboxone, tapered down to 1mg pretty quickly, than took my time from there on, looking back it really wasent that bad besides sleeping, when you get to 1mg, after 21 days drop to .3/4 mg for 21 days, then .50mg 21 days then .25mg 21 days, then start skipping days on .25mg, then .25mg every 2 days, then when tou fell comfortable make your jump, before i did this i tried to jump at 2mg it was pure hell, dont care what anybody says if you jump at 8 mg it will be hell, for months, wish you the best on your recovery, yes one more thing, the longer you stay on it the harder it will be to come off of, i am not a doctor, its my experience with being a addict for 25 years, all the best, god bless!!

I was recently placed on subs for a multitude of failed trys at sobriety I have been on them a week and afraid that I will now never come off of these but you just now gave me the best news EVER!!
