89 Hours Clean!! YIPPY!

YIPPY!!

Today I am starting the L-Tyrosine with B6 (per the Thomas Recipe) and I'm done with the Xanax (a God send)

Does anyone know what I can expect next?? I feel a little  . . . fragile . . . . . like is I saw one of those SPCA commercials I would burst into tears. Is this normal??

Thanks!!

Hey there, wanted to say awesome job on the clean time. Its not easy but your rolling with the punches. I cried for 2 weeks. EVERYTHING made me emotional. It got to the point where after Id start Id have to laugh at myself because I was a slobbering fool. Lol my cat would come in and Id start. It was so annoying, but it passed along with most other symptoms. The sneezing holy crap Im still sneezing uncontrolably. My kids think its hysterical. They sit. and count how many times in a row I sneeze. Keep it up! From this side it looks like your doing well.

Hi Bright ~

Yes - we have a therapist - we see her Thursday.

I really hope the worst is over.

Thanks for the support.

Wilde, I've been reading through your last few posts and I wanted to congratulate you on how far you've come! Keep up the great work!  Apologies in advance, for I don't know your whole history/story, but are you getting some type of aftercare ie meetings, therapy, what have you? I was never really able to stay clean until I added that piece.

I remember after I got thru the height of wd's, I had a few lingering symptoms: sneezing, insomnia, and swearing. Yuck. But they all subsides thank goodness! I was never good sleeper I thought I was really going to be in trouble when I quit-  but now I sleep better than I ever have!

Completely normal like Rosy said.  I hate those commercials by the way.  I have had to switch the channel recently but haven't been watching much TV since I started the detox.  I can barely sit still.

Your emotions may be raw for some time.  As you know the drugs "dulled the senses" so you weren't as emotional and now they are laid out raw.

Congrats on your clean time.  You should be over the worst of it.
