buprenorphine question Help!!

Hi, first timer here. I have been off the smack for two months and am coming off the buprenorphine tomorrow. Does anyone know how long it takes to exit your system cause I have taken it 3 days more than I was told and finished today.Tomorrow I have a urine test where they look for things like that. Will it still be in my urine?How long does it take to exit? If your wandering why I'm coming off so fast its because I'm going overseas and I need the ok from the doctor. He thinks I stopped three days ago.

who is giving u the urine test?  sub doesnt show up in an emplyment urine screen //only narcotics...ur sub dr has a test for sub tho..but it wouldnt be out of ur system in 3 days even had u not used it at all for three days...it takes a while as the drug has a long half life...urine drug screens for jobs test for benzos, pot, cocaine, narcotics (not sub tho) but i do think methadone shows up on most 10 panel drug screens..5 panel are cheaper and what my hospital uses and hydro doesnt even show up..only morphine and codeine being the 2 true narcotics and the rest like oxy and hydro are synthetic...plus u have a scrip for the sub..dont worry..all will be well

Bupe has a long halflife, meaning it stays in the system this way: If on Monday A.M. you take 8mg, then by Tuesday P.M. you still have 4mg. in your system, then Thursday A.M. you still have 2mg. in your system,then Friday P.M. you still have 1mg in your system. Every 37.50 hours it cuts in half. So approximately five days duration for an 8mg tablet.
  Does that make sense??

they prob scheduled your urine test when they thot it would be out of ur system... 4 days? I think you should tell him you stayed on for the extra days... call em and see if you can take the test 4 days after ur last day... just an idea
