Advise on hydrocodone withdraws. Please!

Been taking hydrocodone and pretty much any other opiate I can get my hands on for years. It started due to Endometriosis and Polly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome pain and escalated. I've gone through withdraws countless times. I'm always pulled back either from not being able to handle the withdraws or returning pain. I have to make it work this time as it is interfering with my life in a major way.
I am at hour 44 but at hour 34 I  back slid with 1mg of IV dilaudid. I got complete relief for a few hours and a script for tramadol. (I've used trams before to lessen the wds in the beginning and it's always helped.) I took 2 50mg trams at hour 37 and then another two at hour 41. This has made it comfortable so far with minimal symptoms. I was able to finnally eat something after 2 days of nothing. The rls is greally reduced. Still have anxiety, runs (which is reduced some), insomnia, headache. But it's nothing like the first 34 hours. Which was utter misery. Also taking Emergen-c, and naproxen.
My question is will the dilaudid back slide starts me all over as if hour 34 is hour 1 or if I truelly am headed towards the end after hour 72 as normal?
Also and idea if the tram will prolong? I have 16 left and am trying to take minimal amounts. I don't remember it prolonging it before, but when your brain is mushy from detox it's hard to remember.
Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Get the imodium in your and tread the sneezes, etc. like a cold.  Benedryl helps..some say it helps with sleep others say it does not.  Glad you got some sleep and feeling a little better.

Thanks guys. I know that many won't agree with the use of tramadol durring the worst part of detox. For some it will make things worse as far as physiological addiction is concerned. For someone as weak as myself I will seek out relief through my drug of choice with out any help. For me tram has been proven non addictive atleast physically in the past.  Physiologically your right it's poping another pill.
That being said. I didn't take anymore trams yesterday then what above post said and finally slept for about 14 hours of broken sleep. I awoke today with much less creepy crawlies and rls than before. Still sneezing, watery eyes, runs, stomach cramps and shaky. But not wanting to jump out of my skin is a huge improvement. That and the rls is what kills me.
Maybe I am headed towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Once I get over the physical I'm going to give NA a try for the phycological.

I kept telling myself...YOU HAVE the FLU!  It will be over and I will feel so much better.  My brain seemed to get that and settled down a little.  It is hard, but doable!  The Thomas Recipe (bottom of the page) under Health Pages will help.  I had to cut back on the Ltryosine, but the rest really helped.  Imodium, Imodium, Imodium (liquid or pills if the liquid can't be found or you can't swallow it) will help.  I took double the dosage for a few days (personal choice) and it helped so much..even with the withdrawals in general and the opiate trots which sucked.

Hydrate and eat! ((gatorade is good) Even if it is just a little every hour or so.(boost or ensure might work for both food and drink)  You have to eat something to keep your energy up as much as possible.

If you have Restless legs..it is hit or miss what works.  Walking seemed to help me some.  Hot bath with epsom salts..a little.  I finally had to get my doctor to refill my restless legs meds (non addictive) to get some sleep.  If nothing works, your doctor might help.  Benedryl or OTC Alteril helps some with sleep issues and you will have them.

One hour at a time is all anyone can ask.  After 2 weeks it gets a little better and I started to say, One day at a time!  Your brain will do all sorts of things to get you to take a pill.  I found if I was hungry..the cravings got worse.  I would try to eat a banana, a few grapes or a few crackers to get that under control.

The hardest part comes after the detox.  Your brain will be all over the place and will try to get you back on the pills...It is having to work and not depend on the pills to help.

Good for you.  I hope all goes well.  You have made a good start coming here....this site has helped me so much!!!  Keep posting!!!!!

Well at least youre thinking about it but I must say you are not going at this the right way. You must stay away from these meds. I can tell you that relapsing at his point is much worst than quitting completely.  tramacet is as addictive as the morphine and cause bigger problems that the morph. Getting sobber is a process and is not easy but like most of the people in here will say the same you can do this...Absolutely!!!!! You  cant change this process it needs to take its toll///You need to break the pattern the pill poping pattern. You need to re train your brain to live without the meds, get that seretonin running again. I know you want this more than ever and you can. Take some time off and spend the whole day in the tub if you have to...check out the Thomas recepi. If you take this route u need to do only as they say nothing more. Relax it gonna be ok.. re post if u like

Ps. I've been taking between 30-80mg of hydrocodone for a few months before that I was taking a boat load of Kratom for a few months which has monstrous withdraws as well and about the same mgs of hydro since dec. before that about a month of sobriety before that. Before that it was a free for all any thing from heroin to hydro what ever I could get for years. If history matters.
Thanks again.
