Are there any treatments available for those without insurance?

I know of someone who is addicted to Lortab and Xanax.  His insurance will not cover a stay in rehab.  How can I help him?

Check  your local mental health center they should be able to tell you about programs for people without ins . Most states have a state hosptial but you may have to wait a bit for a bed .

Hi there and welcome.....cash only then is how most treatment facilities/doctors work if you don't have insurance.Trust me-you tell them you will pay cash out of pocket they will help you.I know of several people who did it that way vs running it through their insurance as well as 1 that had no ins.Yes,it is costly but no more so than the actual addiction.

Congratulations for your friend and to you mommy2be for taking this step..it's the 1st of many on a long hard road but so worth it!!Good luck;stay strong;and keep your guard up!!Keep us posted!!~Anne
