Ativan withdrawal

This might sound like a silly question but I was prescribed Ativan in 2015 for generaliised anxiety.  I took a 1mg tab morning and night for a week.  I had researched what this tablet could do so i just stoped taking it.  Just gave me bad diarrhoea but nothing more.  My anxiety returned this year and I remember I still had the tablets in the cupboard.  I only took two 1mg tablets and then stopped because I was too scared of dependency and withdrawal.  Now I just have muscle aches in shoulder blade and arms.  A bit on my neck.  I also sleep in a bad position.  So not sure. Could that be withdrawal.  Even though it’s only 2 day with 1mg each day.

I would think a chiropractor would help with the muscle aches since you said you sleep in a bad position.  If you got those pills in 2015 i would think the expiration date has come and gone.  There are healthy ways to combat anxiety, exercise, tea, supplements, essential oils etc.  Check into some of that as that may help and all of it is non addictive!

Thank you for your reply.  I have started exercising, meditation and deep breathing exercises.  All of this has helped me.  Along with talking to a trusted friend and eating right .  I actually don’tknow why I would ever touch these pills again.  I don’t need them.  Thanks again.
