Back on Subtex after 16 Days - Avis read

So I am bipolar and decide to come of subtex on my own and thought it would be ok.  Instead of each day getting better the anxiety got worse.  I had xantax and even that didn't help.   I had thoughts of not wanting my children and that really worried me.  I was to the point where I didn't want to live.  I called the sub dr and he said no way, go back on it.  He said with the new baby and all the things that were going on in my life I needed to take it.  I took 4mg and within 30min, I felt normal.  The funny thing is I think it is treating my bipolar anxiety.  I am going to see him today and talk with him about it.  Maybe I can get off some of my med and just take subutex for anxiety as well as xantax.  They work well togeather for me and I don't take xantax to get high, only what he told me to.  I thought that subutex was just bad but now I see that it saved me and is saving me.  Now I feel normal and may be on it for a long time and I don't care if I am.  As days went on you are supposed to feel better, but no I was worse and that was my bipolar and my other dr wasn't working with me.  I would have had to take so much xantax without the sub that I would be so out of it.  With the subutex and a little bit of xantax I feel normal.  So avis you were right, it is ok to be on the dr said so.

i think for the time being the sub is best it was keeping you stable .Not to mention you jumped off on far to high of a dose ..I think if it working for u stay on it ..Its what you need for right now and there is nothing to be ashamed of becuse of that .
Now with the xanax it is very addicting so plz do not stay on it long term .

Kris,I'm so glad you feel better. You jumped off at a pretty high dose.

Don't you worry about social services!  You have a doctor and are doing all the right things. Refer them to your doctor!

Avisg is out of town today but if you send her a msg. she'll see it later.

Good for you!!

Hi there!  I think avis is away today, but you might could PM her if you need her to see this.

I don't know much about sub.  I didn't take it for that long, but if you feel comfortable with your doctor's advice, then i would say stay on it for now.
