oh my! guess im on my way to CVS for some Imodium!!!! dammit - thought maybe that part would not get me! **** n pun intended
yes i am planning on refilling it. but like i said have been on this dosage for little over 2 years and it helps a Great deal. i do have to work and without pain relief i am in bed or in constant horrific pain. ihave talked to my neurologist about alternatives and also as i said we have tried many. i dont feel comfortable going to a morphine derivative so he just says when ur ready let me know. well, i guess if there is no alternative then that is where i am heading. but for now, the next refill i will remember this awful feeling i am going thru and when i think well, just one more wont hurt, i'll also remember detox is worse than pain. much worse.
Been right there JJ....it is scary. I wish that I could sugar coat it for you, but thats not my style. You really need to figure out if you want this to continue, or if its time to put the pills up. One of the classic textbook numbers would be your statement that you just do enough to be "normal". Even though I understand you, most folks would disagree that someone under the influence of narcotics is "normal". The siezure thing seems to be mostly associated with tramadol as a pain med - although it also pops up with alcohol and benzodiazepines. That shouldnt be a major concern for you. Use hot showers/baths often. Look up the Thomas Recipe on this forum (just throw it in search) the vitamin/supplements are good for RLS and general nutrition. Drink ensure (or Walgreens brand) liquid nutrition to make up for loss of appetite. Use advil or other otc for aches. Benadryl, melatonin, and sleepytime are all good for sleep. Good luck to you!

You are about half way through the physical withdrawals. Are you going to quit or refill your Rx?
