Bad cravings after a year clean

This is not really a question I think more I need some support.I dont know what triggered it but out of the blue today at work I had the worst craving ever to the point where I even thought about going into my bosses house to take one of her pills(shes had them all along and I have always new) I dont know it was like my mind was posesde(sp) I am really freakin out right now. I thought I was on my way,I am having the worst anxiety about this.

Thanks guys. I am feeling better now I decided I was going to take my boys to DC tomorrow cause they start spring break to see the museums..and that help to get my mind on something else. I was just really not expecting that.I havent had alot of craving and the ones I do have are usually for sub. Wow that was really intense, I am determined to beat this SOB,I will keep my guard up. Thanks again for the support I really need it.

its normal, try not to freak and just let it pass, sometimes i have cravings that stick around for seconds other times its a couple days
i usuallly experience this when i am stressed out, coming here and talking to my friends or calling my sponsor usually gets me out of that feeling
other times i just hang on and wait it out

Get back on here and let us know how you are. Remember they do pass, but sometimes they come on so strong and so fast it's scary. Stay strong and get as much support as you can right now. Congrats on all that clean time

This addiction is sneaky isnt it??  Get yourself busy and get that mind on something else.  Am glad you posted......Take a bath, turn the music on, go outside and get some fresh air just do something to stay busy.  You are stronger than this craving........sara
