Can you parent taking this?

My child's father insists that he is completely unaffected my taking 10 pills of vicodin at 350 mg each, Robaxin and welbuterin.  My son is 5 is there anyway he telly can function as an effective parent?  He drives him everywhere it scares me do death.  I spoke with an attorney he said unless he is arrested for heroin the court really won't limit custody.

Well first off sorry that you have to deal with a father to your child like that. And yes he courts don't really care about much with drugs it's horrible!! I'm sorry that he puts you through the worry about driving your son around while taking medicine:( but also think of you have no idea how high is tolerance to medication is. He could need that many to just be normal in the day and to be there for his son. How do you know how many and what he takes? Courts don't like hear say stuff, it ***** I know. Is it prescribed or bought off people?

I don't understand...are you taking vicodin also? Or is it the father using drugs?.... and that u r worried about him driving your son around while he is high is obviously understandable. But why did the lawyer speak about heroin? I don't fully understand ... Can you explain it differently please so we can try to help?
