Changed my Profile Photo - to bkitty

So, I know logically that it will be a while before she sees the photo I've posted - and I'm really not sure why I did - but some how I want her to see some of the people that she's helped. These are my children, and during my 15 years of using, they came second to my drugs. About 16 months ago I decided to stop, came to this forum, and with the help of bkitty and many others, I made it. Like a lot of us, I've been very private with regards to my family, but I feel that this is a good time to share a little about the people behind the addict. My heart and best wished go out to bkitty and those who are in it, helping her.

Great picture, beautiful family! I am not on here as much as I used to be, but I am glad to see you back. Your comments are often times exactly what I am thinking. I am praying for bitty, even though I don't do it often, so I hope I am doing it right. She is dearly loved here.

ricart - I don't know what's going on with my mail. I'll look in to it. And yeah, she is one of those who would be there to support, but would also let you know if you were out in left field (in a nice way). I spent a lot of time in left field when I first found this site.

She has helped me without judging more than a few times.
Even offered me her number when I was feeling really horrible.I never called but I was really touched that someone who didn't really know me would do that for me and it helped me through.I wish there were more we could do to help her right now.
