Coricidin help!

My husband is addicted to Coricidin and tells me he wants help! So I am on here seeing if there is someone out there who has been through this same thing and has beat it and would be willing to talk to him. He has been on it his whole adult life and is now 32. I think him talking with someone would be a great jump start to help him quit.

I was severely addicted for two years. the after effects are harsh. he will become socially awkward have problems speaking, coming up with the right words to say. he may even have kidney issues and **** blood for a while. what caused me to quit was after it had beat me down physically. idk what came over me honestly. its a tough drug to stop.it can be done though. I feel your pain. I cant imagine having your husband addicted to such a powerful drug. good luck and im here to talk if need be

Hi I think you are right the best place to start would be to talk to someone is he open to that ? I would also say no cold turkey with this one because of the blood pressure issues. maybe just an appt. with your family doc. so you both know how to do (get off of it )it safely Good luck
