Craving, but not my DOC %&$!

It has been a month and a half since I craved which is a minor miracle, but for the past 24 hours it hasn't stopped, it just keeps growing and I don't want to use, I won't use, but it's not easy right now. It's so crazy how a craving can come up and bite ya in the *** so fast and the mind changes, it's scary! I am posting cause it holds me accountable and I am feeling weak today and need some help to get through this. I am craving something different than my DOC too, which is strange, but a druggie is a druggie, haha. Ok not funny. I hope this goes away soon, I HATE FEELING WEAK!!! I am just over 5 months clean, but an addict for life, ugggggggg.

The time of year can certainly be a stressor, regardless of whether is a good time or bad.  I know so many people who get depressed at Christmas and it really does come down to taking it one day at a time and not buying into the hype that Christmas is everyday of December like the media wants us to believe!!  Not sure if this is relevant to you Gizzy but just my two cents thrown in.  You have been supportive to me and I just wanted you to know you are in my thoughts.  Take care.

You know the drill Giz. It's great that you posted. I know that you are strong enough to kick that craving where the sun don't shine. This time of year we all need to keep our guard up. So many strong emotions from stress to joy. Emotions good or bad are big triggers for me. This will pass Gizzy. You aren't going back there again bc I always follow when you do LOL. Feel better my friend. You have so much to be happy for. Love, Corey

Cravings are reality with our addictions.  We do face our cravings head on.  We go to meetings, we talk with friends, we come on the forum, we listen to music etc.  Im not sure what you are trying to sell us here.........sara

I believe the craving is a thought form which will keep popping up
until you finally let it go.

Thought forms live like parasites inside us, some of them can be really like demons.
If craving comes up be happy it's because the stuff from the subconscious has come to the conscious.

So when feeling the craving,
REALLY feel the craving, look it in the eye...
pay attention to it... see the emotions... the thoughts swirling around it...

it's a like a ball of energy... an entity of energy.
look it in the eye and do nothing.

when you let go of the craving successfully,
the energy of that entity will flow back into you.
you will feel more energetic and happy.

does this sound crazy to you? it's not.
the mind is not present just inside the head it is present all over the body.

most peoples energy is being totally sucked by energetic parasites called thought forms.
the more of these parasites you let go, the more freely your energy will be able to flow...

i have shared some more information about releasing these mental energy blockades in the post below:

I am almost five months clean and I was graving pot the other day it was the wierdest thing, when I was drinking and useing I rarely smoked pot. But the other day it was rainy and I was craving it. The reason why I didn't call someone who could hook me up was because I had long time ago erased all those connect numbers of off my phone. I don't allow myself to drink either because I know myself and I am one good buzz away from picking up my old friend and enemy crystal meth. For me all drugs will lead me to my doc my addict will even let me use pot or alcohol on a controled basis to give me the idea that I am not powerless over this addiction. I try to turn every jones and craving into a chance to learn about myself and use differant tools to stay clean. Five months is a huge thing and posting about your struggle is also huge . My addict brain always trys to isolate me. My hat is off to you gizzy . It's always nice to know I am not alone.
