DAY 7 THANK GOD !!!

Yep day 7 and i actuly got some sleep lastnight without help i was just wiped out !!! and with a little bit of sleep i feel alot better as far as w/d but im thinking about pills alot and how i find myself trying to justify taking just one its like im triking myself  ooh ive been clean for 7days cold turkey ive earned one !!! its like the bad half of me is trying but i have a solution for that !!! staying busy and im actuly getting alot of things done im being 100% more productive its like im running away from myself or cravings but its working for me and i hope when i lay down tonight that it dosent catch up with me if it does i will think of the 5days of pure hell i just went threw to get to this point  so yah day 7 and much better still a little weak and sick feeling in my stomach but yah better than yesterday !!! and of course a big thank you to everyone here who has helped me threw this and i hope i can help anyone i can here .. THANX ALL

Congradulations!!  I am on day 4 no sleep and bad everything smells bad, on the other hand just think of what we have been  and are going thru I do not have any pain just wanted to feel good. Stay the course and good luck you have gone this far do not retreat to our old ways. detoxing gets harder every time so just think how good you feel in theam. Best of luck

Hey ya delta, D company that is. Just got back from a great great AA meeting, I brought up the discussion of Guilt and Hurt. And boy did I get a response. Basically, people can hear all the I'm so sorries all the time, but its your actions that take the spotlight. Congrats on your 10th day, remember one day at a time.

WOO HOOOO 7 days clean you go girl great job its the beginning of day 7 for me
this morning. last night no sleep but so goes it, im in this thing for the long haul
he11 I spent plenty of nights up all gassed up on pills so a few missed nights
of sleep ant going to kill me..annyway im coming off methadone so my withdrawals
are probably going to be here for a wile longer but im glad your doing beter so soon
im looking forward to feeling better soon to ....best of luck to you stay strong..Gnarly

You are a real trooper. And to be very honest with you, I read your forum a few days back and I as a man just about busted out in tears. I am feeling better myself, little sleep, but it will get better. Just want to say thanks, and thanks too for serving us. Believe me your life will get better and better and someone will come into your life even better than you had before. I know I got a real trooper now for a new wife and she walks with me all the way, instead of the old one who used to slam me all the time for my mistakes, but I did it to her and myself and family.
