Day 10 - Double Digits

Woot!  Double digits.  I'm really glad I took the plunge and wish that I had known and done what I know now a few years ago.

For me, most of the physical symptoms have passed.  I still have no trace of appetite, but I'm eating some.  It took a few days of Imodium to get past the runs, but those are taken care of at least for the time being.  The worst right now is the mental aspect.  I'm not craving the pills...  mostly just mental peace.  I'm not finding it.  My brain seems to be going about 1,000 miles an hour and keeps digging up things that were long since left behind and better left there.  I guess its just an overall sense of melancholy.

Exercise has been key in the last week.  I forced myself to get out and get moving.  I've been trying to run every other day.  That's both trying to run and trying to do it every other day.  I'm still slow, but I'm moving.  And my pace is getting better.

More soon.

Matt

Well, the run got done.  1.5 miles in 23 minutes.  Not great, but I'll make progress.  Just like everything else.

Double Digits is Awesome...the physical part usually lasts a week, the mental hold on for a little longer. Just keep what you're doing and you'll be out of the woods in NO time!!!

Congrats on double digits, thats a HUGE accomplishment.

Thats fantastic Matt! Feels better everyday. Keep exercising to keep the endorphines pumping, I know its difficult at times to keep the motivation to get started but it really does help.
