Day 10

This is more of an update, hope it's in the correct spot.

For those who have been following me on my short journey know it's been hard and I want to say thank you much.

I'm on day 10 from quitting (8+ 50mg Tramadol per) cold turkey and it's been one emotional ride I will never forget.  For those that are at the beginning of their WD, I want to take the time to say it will not be easy to start but believe in the people that has been where we are now when they say it gets better (hard to believe but it does)
The paths we walked down (taking) might not of been our smartest choice but I feel it is something we had to endure in order to achieve a larger goal in life and that's living for ourselves.
The people here that give so much encouragement has helped me overcome my addiction more than my own family did and I know it know takes others that's been down this road to help us through it. Don't ever feel like no one understands because we all here do.
That being said, let me tell you that my 10th day is the best by far.
I've ate 2 full plates of awesome BBQ last night and slept the best night I had in a long long time.
I'm new to this site and plan on sticking around to help others when I can (learning to navigate is fun with phone)
If anyone thinks it can't be done always know anything can be done by the grace of God,  learn to let go and give your addiction to him.
Thanks for all the help
John

I have to say it's been one he'll of a ride but I'm glad it's started. I might not have the energy motivation to want to do anything but I have the heart to get up a just do it. I was most definitely scared That I wasn't going to be able to commit like I had but it's the best thing I've ever done
