Day 20- all time record!

I can't believe I've made it this far!  
So many years of Vic, oxy.  I'm the one who had the surprise allergic reaction to oxy 20 days ago.
It feels incredibly mentally great.  All my dr have begged me to go back on oxy, but no. ( I have cancer)
So.  Since I've never gone this long without.... When might I sleep more than 4 hrs at a time?  When will the bathroom trips stop?  I guess I thought I'd be over that by now, but I've been on opiates for a good 7-8 years . (Prescribed, never on the street). I know wd is different for everyone.

Hi  well a big congrats on 20 days clean.....you may find like many of us that your pain will be ezer to manage without the oxy.....it takes a wile for your body to build up natural endorphins but it will with time  I know im in less pay these days with nothing more the ibuprofin and tylonol  you will be suprized  keep posting for support we all want to see you make it..........Gnarly

wow i am SO impressed!  you go girl!  congratulations.  for me sleep took a long time, but the stomach thing was over fairly quickly.

Congrats on the 20 days!!!!

Sleep and energy are usually the ones that linger but it will come back.   I would ask your doctor about the bathroom issues.  Immodium helps but with you already battling cancer it is best to ask him/her.  Your body is working hard fighting the cancer and the detox so i hang tight.  You are doing great!!

I can't answer as to when you will sleep again.  Everyone is different.  I'm nine months out and still cannot sleep more than 2 hours.

And the bathroom trips?  Well...I've started taking probiotics, and they seem to help a lot.
