Wow Qitinoxys On My Thread Im Honored, I Read A Lot Of Your Post And They Really got Me Through My 1st Couple Days better Than What i Had Before, you have a lot of knowledge and Great Advice, You Have Truly Been Uplifting To Me In My Recovery And Will Definitly Look Into Some type Of After Care, Thanks For Being Here For EVERYONE!
Thanks Kyle And I Am Proud, Although I Havent been using that long It Feels Like A Life Time And They Were Prescribed About 8-10 A Day For Over 8months They really threw me for a loop, never ever experienced anything like them And After 2 or 3 trips to the dr. when my meds had run out thats when he told me that i was going threw W/D, After that i made my mind up thats not how i want to live my life.
Thanks Again For Listen And Posting.
Want2great job on getting to day 5, now its time to figure out how you will remain sober. That is the job of aftercare and we all need some sort of it. Aftercare teaches us how to deal with lfe as an addict and gives us the tools to cope with life's unexpected pitfalls. Aftercare also helps us gain insight into why we use and what we can do to change things. I know I am always harping on aftercare but I know from personal experience without it I would have probably relapsed.
Hey LeaAnn Thanks For The Word Of Support, I Will Be Trying to keep myself busy, I do feel like the worst of the physical part is over just wanted to know if the nausea comes back after you stop taking the imodium, I didnt take it the 1st 2 days, and from the post that ive read it has like a mild narcotic in it...non-the-less i feel like my acid stomach as turned to hunger pains, lol.
Thanks For Posting.
And Francyna CONGRATS ON YOUR CLEAN TIME!!!
Hey Francyna Thanks For Posting, And I Havent Got Into Any Meetings As Of Yet But Looking Forward To Getting Back jn Church, I Havent Been In A While But My Moms Gose To An Awesome Church With A Great Pastor I Will Be Attending Next Sunday... And Again Thanks For Taking The Time To Post I Will Keep You Updated.
Day 5 is fantastic. When you can start eating lots of healthy stuff. Exercise. And after care. You should be very proud.
Yaay, if you made it to day five then you're definitely over the hump and the worst physical part! Now what you need to do is look into some meetings or counseling with therapist, pastor, whatever works to keep you from having to ever go through this again! This can be the last time you have to deal with this crap if you get the right kind of support.
Congrats! : )
Congrats!!!! Keep the good work...are you making meetings? For me they were vital for my recovery......July 28, 2012. We'll have 8yrs. I couldn't do without the WE!
