Day 63 Update

Well today makes 63 days off of methadone, i know its not alot of clean time , but its my clean time and im very proud of myself. Just thought id make a update post, Life has been good to me, im so happy that i decided to chuck the fear that keep me on this horrible drug, yes it does save peoples lives, it does help us get back on the correct path, but with every good there is always a bad side and for me it was the fear of not being able to make it through life without this monster, but the truth is I can , and so can anyone wanting to break those chains. Tomorrow i leave for the beach this is the first time in 8 years i dont have to worry about bottles, or being sick , I can enjoy life with my beautiful daughter on the beach. I started working out getting myself in shape about a few weeks ago , and started eating healthier , Im living my life on my terms, and not letting fear control it. Im so glad to be a part of this great community , i just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you who have read my post and commented your support was very key.
God Bless

congratulations....you have a very positive outlook and that s so important.  Drug free vacations are the best...we actually enjoy them, not worried about the next fix and can remember them.  My first was in Minnesota followed by Chicago...I had to  keep sitting down but I remember every moment of that trip..Good luck to you...enjoy

Hi Fantastic and Well Done and you deserve an awesome holiday with your daughter at the beach. Make each day a new day and do something special no matter how small, even if its just paying someone a compliment and making their day, it will make your day too and take your mind of other things. You are an inspiration to others do not forget that. Enjoy your holiday and live each day to the full as a free person.
