Thanks for the kind words on my thread, you are right I am feeling better, thinking clearer.  I actually got back from my kids game, thank god I went, the little guy scored both his teams goals.  I'm so emotional at this stage I started to cry a bit.  They ultimately lost 3-2 with the other team scoring the winner with 40 sec. left on the clock, heartbreaker!  It was good to get out but, to be honest, I'm really relieved to be back home.  I feel very vulnerable outside right now.  In my home,  I feel safe.  Fighting cravings today as well, this is where I have to buckle down because I've always relapsed between day 5 - 7, I'm almost at day 5 now.  Have to work on some aftercare to keep this ball rolling.  Thanks again Dave, everything you said about the kids is so very true.  They truly deserve the best.  Good luck to you to and God bless you as well....K.J.

Thanks all for the kind words.

dominosarah:  Thank you!!  I am looking into after care and also looking to volunteering with drug rehab.  My stepmom sits on a board for the local county rehab facility and she's gonna try to help.  I have no urge or desire to touch a pill!!!!  Good luck on your recovery and you are in my prayers :)

missmetal:  No problem, we all tend to get busy in our lives and dealing with this doesn't help.  I am totally with ya on the music, I'm 47 and I too am an 80's metalhead (Steelheart, Quiet Riot, Cinderella, Dio, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden...god I could go on forever..lol).  The good ole days...lol.  Thanks again, and I'm here if you need anything.  Good luck and stay STRONG...ROCK ON !!!!!

Keep up the good work!

You wrote to me a couple of days ago, and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner...I really appreciate the note you left me - it made me smile - I especially agree with you regarding listening to music - I LOVE music, so have been listening to a lot of what makes me feel good (almost everything, to be honest with you) - but since I'm 45 years old, the 70s and 80s are especially dear to my heart, although these days, I'm more of a metalhead LOL!

Kudos to you and your progress - and keep on ROCKING!!!
