No point in prolonging the inevitable. Time for me to take my own advice and start my recovery...NOW. I'm feeling very depressed right now but I know I need to do this...

Thank you all for the support! I haven't been on here for a couple of days but I'm still hanging in there. I'm actually getting ready to go to TN for a little time away and some R&R. My brother-in-law offered for us to come down to see him and take a break. The timing couldn't be better IMO. I will keep you updated how I'm doing. I still don't feel the best but it's not as bad as I expected at least so far. Cat :)

Hi, Cat, takes courage to post a relapse doesn't it? I had 6 days then took 5 pills, so technically back to day 3 now or whatever but the sh!t is HARD. So hard. You know how easy it would be to just never write on this site again? Very! But, you did and that's huge. Good for you. I need as much support as I can get to so if you wanna private msg or friend me or whatever, please do!!

Hi Catmagnet.. I was Happy to see your Avatar but sorry to read of your relapse.. Then again today to see you are getting clean !! Yeah !! I know you feel like crud but you know it will be worth it when you start to feel better.. I have been having to take meds for a while now although they are doled out and I have been good It is getting close to time to try without again... This is the first time I have used that they have been monitored for so long and it has been beneficial but I do not feel Good in my spirit on them. I will soon be following you so I send my Best I know you can do this.. You are so worth a Good Quality life I'm so Proud for you for reaching for it.. lesa

You won't feel like this for long...just go with it and try to stay in the moment as much as you can...that's what works for me.  Along with ice cream...

You know that even attempting to get clean can be one of the hardest things that you'll ever do, so be proud of your decision. Now, what are you doing differently this time? I don't have to tell you that if you don't do anything differently this time you will eventually be back, posting Day One (again).
Why did you relapse? What can you do to prevent it? Let us know the plan you've set up for your recovery; there are alot of people one here who can maybe add to the plan.

I just wanted to throw a little support your way. You are doing a great thing, and it does really sound like you're done. You are allowed to be moody! Don't force yourself to be in a great mood. If you need to be grumpy and vent, then do it! You'll feel better afterwards. Hang in there!

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Hopefully I will snap out of my moodiness soon and I will be more sociable. But I really do appreciate everyone who is here for me.

Cat, I truly believe you're ready! You're sick and tired of being sick and tired, and it's time. Good for you!!! Just know that this is a WE forum. I can't but WE can. Don't feel alone for one minute. We're here with you every step of the way. Keep posting! Post and more postings from you. Did I mention posting?? Get all the different thinking you can get from everyone you can.
