Anyone on here have experience with butorphanol??

I ask because i am having lots of pain in my nose from perforated septum and I have a staph infection.  I have used everything one can think of to ease/numb the pain and I'm not having any luck!  I have taken Vicodin, oxycodone, dilaudid, I use saline solutions to rinse my nose several times a day (which makes it hurt worse), I've used lidocaine, oragel, bactine..... You catch my drift.  I have been to see the ENT, and all he did was clean my nose out and did a biopsy checking for cancer, which came back negative thank God!!  I am supposed to go back to him on wed and I plan to demand that surgery be done to close this hole up so that I can sleep again and live again!  I hurt ALL OF THE TIME!  No joke or exaggeration.  I've been through child birth and went through passing of kidney stones but this pain has those two both beat by far!  I read online that this "butanorphal" is a nasal spray for pain.  I'm just wondering if it would ease the pain in my nose because the drug is actually marketed for migraines.  If anyone on here could shed some insight on this pain med I would appreciate it!  I would do anything to get relief at this point

It doesn't matter how I got the hole in my nose, I'm just asking if anyone on here has ever used the butorphanol?  That's all I asked....  I did not get the hole from using "coke" I do know that for a damn fact

I just signed on, but Stadool nasal spray is highly addictive. I know this personally as I went to prison for it twice in one year and that was in 1994  Since u asked for opinions, get off this med fast. Of course the Saline will hurt, so use sterile water instead.  It provides relief for u long enough to stop using nasal sprays altogether. I am 58 now, and I am so grateful to be off that crap altogether. Hope I could help

Yes I went back and reread your post from last time and you said it was from Snorting Oxy's for over a year!
We can help but only if you are honest with us!
Are you still taking the Oxy's?

Needanewnose,

You were on here a couple of weeks ago, telling your story, at that time you said you had been snorting coke for some years, now its from nasal spray, so which is it? I was one that posted to you that evening.
I don't think your being truthful, just my opinion.  By the way I might have it wrong on coke, because I haven't looked up your last post.  But I do no it was some kind of drug, no mention of using nasal sprays that night when u jumped on here asking for help. At that time you said you had an ENT appt.
Hey, just saying, "The Truth shall set you Free".

Im very sorry for your pain, hope you can get it taken care of.

Sorry for the misspell, I meant "hole" not "whole"

The whole in my septum came from constant sinus infections and using nasal sprays habitually, or too much rather.

Was the perforated septum caused from drug abuse?
