Feeling ok today.

I had horrible RLS last night so I got into the bath and that helped. Today is day 3. I am hoping I can force myself to shower. Just the thought of it makes me exhausted for some reason. I HAVE to stay occupied. I can't stay alone or I'll get so depressed. When should I be turning a corner?

I don't wan to alarm you doll but tram detox is longer than the other opys. It's typically 7 days or bit more or less for trams.......again.. I think this is due to the antidepressant in trams ...extra f*ckupage to the brainage! Lol.

The reason I want you to acknowledge this for REALS is...I don't want you to be discouraged when others are saying you should be getting over the worse right now at day 4....(WHICH YOU COULD BE...ITS ALL RELATIVE). We are all different.

Just hang on...forget about the time....just tell yourself you only have to worry about this very moment.  .....and if you're still here....you're winning!

Keep posting doll! ((((8)))) hugs

Congrats on Day 3!  You are doing awesome!  Give it a few more days and you should start feeling better.  ANd like everyone above said try to stay busy and keep your mind occupied!!! That helped me so much....I would come on here and read, watch funny movies, do crossword puzzles...anything to keep my mind on something else other than how I was feeling!
Also getting outside helps so much!  I detoxed in December and it was cold but I took the dog out for walks numerous times a day....just the fresh air and the sun helped so much!!!
Try to work on building your support system too.  That will be so important in the days and weeks and months to come!  We can't do this alone!!!
Keep on posting and let us know how you are getting on!!

The 3rd day seems to be the worst for most. As I mentioned above it varies.
Just be in the min and take it day by day. Go do something to keep your mind off of this. You should be bouncing back soon and real soon. Each day will bring you that much closer to your freedom. Most need Support to stay that way.
Peace to you.

Just a tidbit.....when my RLS was at it's worst my husband bought me some really tight, diabetic socks from the pharmacy. The one's that go up over your knees.  I slept in them (laid down in them b/c I didn't really sleep) and it did help.  Hot epsom salt baths, like multiple ones a day.  The soaking did help and I would put I-pod on side of tub with earbuds in and I did find that music helped my brain redirect.  Happy, upbeat music....tried to stay away from hard music that made me think....I also found on Pandora the comedy station and would laugh when something was funny, even through feeling like ****....it helped tremendously.  Sitting in the sun I found helped my mood and made me feel somewhat better. Not 100% but enough to suggest you try it.  Also, take it easy....don't expect too much too soon....work with where your at.  I laid on the bottom of the shower floor many times during my detox..so what.....lay on the floor!  You right in the thick....you have to push yourself!

Hi.
The RLS is why they call it kicking the habit.

Try wrapping some warm towels around your legs. Try them hot with no water and then try hot with water. You can heat them up in the microwave.
Back in 2012 when I c/t 3 med and one being Methadone, I had to go lay under a heating blanket because of the bone aches.

Trams will take a bit of time and time varies for us all. Many factors like age, health, how many mg you got up to and how many drugs you came off of. And how many yrs of drug use!!

Just try to redirect your thinking the best you can and stay Hydrated. Eat very healthy foods and try to stay away from the sugars, caffeine and simple carbs right now. These will cause inflammation. I am sure by now you have some good vit/min. Get that Protein powder and add berries. Anything that you can eat that will help detox toxins out..There are many antioxidant foods, drinks and vit/min out here.

The physical will be over soon and then the Brain Chems have to adjust back. This is what takes some time and it is painless.
The hard part is working on staying clean. I sure hope you have some outside support going for the future. I do wish you the best.
