First Day

This is my first day off of tramadol. I knew I had an issue for about 2 years now and have not had the time to detox and do not have the time now. I ran out of pills and I am sure most know that feeling all too well. After reading here I really want to stop instead of going back to the same horrible addiction. I am worried that I may have seizures like some of the other people on here. I don't know what they would do if I went to the ER. I can not go to rehab and I live in a new state and can not miss work or leave my dog alone. Would the hospital give me something to help me get through this with me still functioning? I called into work today because I can barely move and just typing this hurts. I could really use some suggestions and support. I was taking about 6 50mg pills just to get out of bed and about 6 every 5 hours after that. I think this is going to be a hard process since others were taking much less and had a lot of issues.

it will be hard but i was taking about 1500 mgs of tram (30 oills) a day and bout 100 mgs of oxy/hydro or whatever i had . i have never had a seizure and i went ct every month when i ran out. im not saying u wont every1 is diff but yes tram should b tapered u should not try ct with tram.

Hey there.
Pls let us know what you were taking. Making the choice to quit is certainly a tuff but very rewarding choice. There are alot of amazing people on this site that can offer alot of advice and  support to help you get thru
this. I recently went thru w/d and now clean for 35 days, and feeling better then ever. It was hell, but SO worth it.
