Starting Day 8

I'm on Day 8 today and it's so weird to be going to my weekly meeting at work NOT HIGH!  I almost cringe when I think about how weirdly talkative and outgoing I was.  Things are going so much better now - I'm more productive at work, I don't have to sneak in the back to take a handful of pills...I LOVE THIS!  I almost think that everybody at work knew about my addiction, because now all of a sudden people are so much nicer and more helpful!  I'm so ashamed to think that 6 months ago I nodded out during a meeting with the VP of the company - I just said I was "so tired".  Things are also MUCH better with my fiance, and now I feel like I can actually plan our wedding, instead of giving excuses about why I haven't done anything yet.  Life is getting better:)

Uh, what? I'm somewhere close to 80 days. .lol...I know you meant akay983. Though, good job on your first 6 days. Days 1 thru 30 are way harder than days 31 forward.

That's good news indeed. Congrats on day 8. Funny how we refuse to believe that life will be better without pills but once we get there we're amazed at how great life is again. Keep up the good work. Sounds like you're doing quite well.
