This is been my life saver.  I am so shocked that a natural sleep med works so well.  I have tried all the OTC meds and nothing has ever worked before this.  If you are having problems sleeping, try this med, it is in a green box at Wal-Mart.

KAVA KAVA does not mix with XANAX. it can lead to partial Coma. Long term use of KAVA can have serious side effects.

This is great & i really want to get my hands on some of these natural meds "passion flower" but is it called the same in the u.k does enyone no. & what supplements are best with it ?

I too am in California and I was just at The Vitamin Shoppe yesterday and they had the Kava in stock. It was called "Happy Camper" made by Natural Balance.

To All:
I use L-theanine and it works great. I use a product called THEANINE SERENE™ WITH RELORA®. It also contains 500mg of GABA.

I just had hip surgery last week and my doc will be tapering me off of 30 mg of oxycodone 5 times a day. This is an awesome site. Do some of these things really work? I ran out of medication one time before my surgery and thought I was going to die. Now, thank God my pain is getting better every day. I am already putting full weight bearing on my right leg. I had a total hip last wed. Any more additional advice from you guys I appreciate it.

The natural Sleep Med @ Wal-mart has passion flower in it. You can also purchase Passion flower in combination with GABA from your local healthfood store it even works better especially for the daytime .

GABA 500mgs - 1000mgs with passion flower or without is great for Withdrawls or even after the withdrawls have left.

GABA fills the same receptors in the brain as benzodiazipines, such as xanax and vailum but is not addictive. GABA does not cross the blood brain barrier, so a lot of people think it isnt all that effective. Some believe that if you take GABA with a b-complex in it it is more effective. All GABA at the health food store has a bcomplex additive to make it more effective.

I have found that GABA works great and is non-additive. It is an amino acid. Infact some body builders take mass quanities of this becuase it tunrs into the human growth hormone if you take 7000mgs or more (7grams). So as an amino acid for body building you would want to take a lot.

In conclusion, GABA is great for feeling in the receptor that controls anxiety. I would suggest to anyone that is in withdrawls to give it a try it can make you a lot more comfortable : )

Yes I know the Passion FLower in Rapid Sleep helps block some of the withdrawl Symptoms. Also Passion Flower has a Natural MAOI in it. (Trace Amounts~Anti-Depresent like properties) but this really is of great benefit. I once had the tea before bed and even during the day. If you take Passion Flower with a GABA supplement it is even better : )

There was this once supplement I found that was amazing I was really able to feel it take the edge off it had the folowing in it :

Passion Flower, GABA, Valerian Root, KAVA KAVA, Nican, and a full specturm b complex for absorbtion. I t worked wonders
