Guess who made 90 days???? ME!
I haven't been around much lately but wanted to brag that it's over 90 days now! I can't believe I did it. I relapsed so many times. I can honestly say that I still think about the pills every once in awhile, but mostly I don't. I've re-trained myself to do things without them and to relax without them. I'm never getting back on that merry-go-round because it's a ride that won't stop to let you off! To anyone here just beginning just know that if I can do this - so can you because I was very weak!

Thank you all so very much for the kind words. It's because of all of you that I made over 90 days. I truly could not have done this without this site and the love and encouragement from you all.
I feel good. Totally back to normal. Energy is back, no more sickness, sleeping even better than I did before the pills! I feel very good with hardly any thoughts of pills at all. The pain is still there but not as much as before and aleve works pretty good.

Congrats on 90 days but please keep your guard up i had 200 plus days heroin free but i only have 4 now but you sound great and so determind WDsRawful keep it up mt friend you deserve it so much ,,,,James

Congratulations to you! I'm on day 29, so my 30 day milestone is obviously right around the corner. Never thought I'd go this long.... I can't wait to make it to where you are! Be proud!

Charetti - Thank you and I'd say I felt "normal" after about 4 weeks. I'm sleeping better than ever now and would never go back! Never ever! I simply cannot believe how long I used because I was afraid of withdrawls and being weak/tired/depressed all the time. One thing I have to say that I found to be 150% true is that until you convince yourself that you're done with them - it won't be your last time. If you go in thinking that you might use again, or that you'll get through withdrawals and see how you feel - you won't stop. You have to definitely decide to do it and KNOW there is no going back. Plus, get rid of all sources. If you get them from a doctor - you MUST tell the doctor no more. If you buy them off the street - break ties, delete phone numbers, tell your dealers NO MORE and change your number. It's a must. All sources must go or you'll be tempted.

Wow, thats a real achievement! I am at 23 days and can barely believe it, so 90 days will be a reason for celebration (the non-substance type though LOL)
