after such a short time, i would be very surprised if you felt any horrible withdrawals at all.  maybe some restless legs and diarrhea, but you shouldn't experience full blown withdrawals, but it is possible.
make sure you take a mult-vitamin and cal/mag/zinc supplement and drink tonic water with quinine if you get restless legs.  bananas are a good source of potassium.
since you were abusing them, you will probably crave them pretty bad.  that will be the hardest part for you.  just ignore the cravings and go for a walk.  exercise REALLY helps.

Hey there-

Awesome work on realizing early on that you have a problem and want to nip it in the bud.  Most people go down the rabbit hole and it takes them months or YEARS to realize they have a problem- so Kudos- you have that working for you.
Four months isn't long at all- how much are you using?  If you can taper down a bit at a time then it will definitely be more comfortable.  The thing is tapering can be VERY difficult to do for us addicts.  As long as we have the pills, we want the high.  It's like a sugar addict having a bag on candy in front of them and only being allowed  to eat one.  HARD.
If you have a partner that you can share your secret with and have them hold the pills and just dole them out to you- this helps.
If you decide to go cold turkey (this is my method because I'm not good with the patience that tapering takes)  then it will be 3-5 days of flu like symptoms, and some lingering issues with insomnia and RLS afterwards.  As was mentioned above- look up the Thomas Recipe and use it (though i would avoid the benzos as they are addictive and way harder to kick than opiates)
Ibuprofen and Tylenol for the aches and pains along with epsom salt baths (these are your best friend)
Just tell yourself you have a bad flu and surrender to it, taking good care of yourself.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
Lastly, and the most difficult part of getting clean is the mental struggle.  It may be easier for you because you haven't been using long.  If you don't have a history of abusing substances, then it may be easier too.  BUT-
aftercare is an integral part of getting and staying clean.  Look into counselling, therapy, NA/AA, SMART recovery, church groups, whatever.
It's important that you have some support so that you can heal and move on with your life, free from the pills.
YOU CAN DO THIS-

Hopefully since you have only been taking norcos for 4 months, withdrawal won't be that severe, hopefully. I too was on norcos for close to a year. And I found that taking Ibuprofen help get through not only the residual side effects of my need for norco's but also effects from the need of the norcos themselves.
