Has anyone used the bridge for withdrawals and if so did it work

They say this device works well with withdrews.

I had never heard of it so I just went and read about it.  It doesn't look like it would hurt anything, however, I just read you only use it for 5 days then switch to methadone, suboxone, subutext, etc????  It's used as a temporary "bridge" to get you on a medical detox.  Is that the route your going or were you looking to get off completely?  Depending on your dependency level, sometimes medical detox is worse?
